In 1961, André Mouche and his wife Gracia founded their company in Fahy, in the Swiss Jura region. They created a wristwatch, in a jewel style, superbly decorated by Mrs. Mouche, in a wide range of colours. These semi-rigid wristwatches with lids, decorated by brush, gradually became the André Mouche company trademark, to the point that it is one of the very few remaining companies in Switzerland that still decorate their watches by hand. In a world where technology is more and more important, André Mouche has been able to keep a touch of timeless romanticism.
For more than 50 years, the André Mouche watches have been manufactured in our workshops in Fahy, nestled in the lush and peaceful green setting of the Swiss Jura region. That is where we assemble all of our models. We fully master our technology, using Swiss movements, reliable and precise, giving years of autonomy. The basis of these watches is a non-allergic alloy, plated with 18-carat gold or palladium. The processing, assembling and decoration, as well as polishing of each piece are entirely done at Fahy.
Didier Peter is head manager of the company since 1993, ensuring its development as well as preserving its philosophy: offering women handmade jewel watches, designed in Switzerland, with an excellent quality price ratio. In the field of watchmaking since the end of his studies, a true ambassador to the brand, he has devoted himself to enlarging the André Mouche watches distribution to women worldwide. New ornaments and models are created and adapted for women’s taste throughout the world: Néolia, Alambra, Aria, Aura, and the key model of all, the Lipstick, now an all-time great.
